About Us

Founded in Northamptonshire in September 2021 by Benjamin Hollis after working in the police and security sector since 2010, Medisec has grown into a trusted partner for businesses, local authorities and event organisers who want more than just a security or training provider – they want a partner who listens, understands and delivers with integrity 24/7.

Ben was joined in the business in January 2026 by Operations Manager Darren George. Darren began his career in security in 1998 as a steward at Luton Town Football Club before progressing into the security response team and later becoming a team supervisor. After this, he went on to work for security companies Reliance Security and Securicor, before joining Bedfordshire Police.

During the COVID-19 period, Darren took on the role of Operations Manager for a previous security company, overseeing a portfolio of residential properties in London. During a shift, Darren and his team intervened in an attack on a female, detaining the suspect, providing life-saving first aid and supporting police until emergency services arrived.

This resulted in a successful prosecution and a formal letter of thanks from the Borough Commander. As well as working at Medisec, Darren continues to work as a door supervisor at weekends, maintaining hands-on operational experience alongside his management role.

Together, as Medisec, Benjamin and Darren now support a diverse portfolio of SMEs, corporate, blue-chip companies, local authorities and major event organisers across the UK.
